Road Trip 2006

Monday, July 03, 2006

This year's Road Trip was one of our most exciting trips. We headed to Pennsylavania amusement parks. On day one, July 1, we traveled to Hershey Park in Hershey, Pennsylvania. It has a huge assortment of rides, from thrill seekers to young kids. The 3D show at Chocolate world was fun and interesting.
The next day we went to Dorney Park and Wildwater Kingdom in Allentown. This is another theme park with a good collection of coasters and other thrill rides. Since it was hot that day, we spent our time at water rides. Guys loved watching the bikinis rather than the kids.

We had a great time!

Looking forward to our next vacation.

Again, we joined this year's Philippine Independence Day Parade as we marched the stretch of Madison Avenue in Manhattan, this time bringing on the banner of FAAE (Filipino American Association of Engineers). Yesterday's event commemorating the 108th anniversary of the declaration of Philippine Independence continues to claim its recognition as the largest celebration of Philippine Independence outside of the Philippines.

Fleet Week 2006

Tuesday, May 30, 2006

Last Sunday, we took time out to celebrate the Memorial Day weekend, and what a better place to celebrate it than on the flight deck of the USS Intrepid, a living memorial to the sailors and Marines who served on her. Intrepid saw combat during World War II and the Vietnam War.

Each year, in honor of the men and women who serve in the United States military and their families, the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum participates in and co-hosts New York City’s Annual Fleet Week celebration.
